Jumpgate Screenshots

Our friends over at NetDevil Games handed over a nice little bunch of exclusive screenshots and some concept art from their upcoming title, Jumpgate. Along with each image comes a comment by Markus Krichel, so start your viewing pleasure right away!

JumpGate will be an online-only, massive multiplayer persistent universe. The player is the owner and pilot of a spacecraft, with the objective being to acquire wealth by engaging in trade, mining, and/or combat with that ship. Players may work on their own or together as members of a collaborative team. Players can use the funds they acquire to improve their craft in various ways, including weapon, engines, shields, and other upgrades. Hell, instead of reading some text we ripped from the official Jumpgate info page, you may just read the page yourself if you are interested in learning more of the game... But now, here are the screenshots!

- Two of the nine new structures in Jumpgate. Players will have to construct those buildings in order to obtain new techs, weapons, and ships.	- An Octavian ship is approaching a Solrain build Tooling Center.	- Same approach (the Octavian ship) from a different viewing angle.
- Configuration of a basic Solrain scout ship. Scout ships are the beginners ships in Jumpgate.	- Another view of the structures. The building in the foreground is a tooling center, the other is a production facility.	- A neutral station is a favorite hangout for smugglers, pirates, and other assorted cut-throats. In Jumpgate that's actually a good thing.
- Another shot of the neutral station.	- Concept art for future structures. Each of these building will serve a special purpose.	- Some more artwork for future structures, this one a trading post station.
